TalentWorld is recruiting a Flexographic Press Supervisor in Winnipeg, Manitoba for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, workplace safety, and PPE policies.
- Be the go-to leader for a secure, incident-free production floor.
- Keep lamination operations running smoothly by meeting schedules, maintaining machine efficiency, and hitting key performance targets.
- Mentor operators, foster teamwork, and address performance or interpersonal issues with fairness and professionalism.
- Troubleshoot production delays, quality issues, and equipment concerns with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Work closely with managers, maintenance, and other departments to streamline workflows and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, report production metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement (CI) initiatives.
- Provide first aid when needed and ensure proper incident reporting and follow-up.
- Uphold 5S standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) for a clean, organized, and efficient production area.
- Flexibility to cover varying shifts (days/evenings/nights/weekends) as production demands.
- 3+ years in roll-to-roll lamination or flexible packaging
- Experience with safety protocols (OSHA, GMP, food safety)
- Must be available for 12-hour continental shifts (day/night rotation)
- Proven leadership and troubleshooting skills
- Technical diploma or degree in Engineering/Manufacturing
- Experience with production software (ERP, OEE tracking)
- Able to stand/walk for 12-hour shifts
- Comfortable in fast-paced production environment
