- Oversee the installation and servicing of security systems for new and existing commercial clients, ensuring high-quality execution.
- Develop and implement standardized installation protocols to maintain consistency and service excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex installation issues on-site and collaborate with internal technical teams for quick resolution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop field technicians through structured onboarding and training programs.
- Partner with the sales team to enhance product knowledge and drive customer confidence.
- Act as the primary escalation point for customer service issues, ensuring timely resolution and client satisfaction.
- Identify, vet, and onboard subcontractors to support field operations, negotiating contracts to maintain quality service.
- Manage inventory levels, service vehicles, and job profitability through cost-tracking measures.
- Implement field efficiency KPIs to track installation time, service resolution, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Work closely with sales teams to identify new opportunities to improve profitability.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role.
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the Electronic Security or Fire and Life Safety industry.
- Strong knowledge of security system installation, troubleshooting, and service management.
- Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with subcontractors and managing operational budgets.
- This position is on the field.
- Local travel required, with periodic travel across Canada.
