TalentWorld is recruiting a Forklift Operator in Surrey (Cloverdale), British Columbia for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely.
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments.
- Prepare and stage materials for outbound shipments.
- Load/unload trucks and handle materials up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
- Perform daily equipment checks and follow safety protocols.
- Wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, high-visibility gear).
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production and shipping goals.
- Keep work areas clean and comply with company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Valid forklift operator certification (asset); OSHA or CLA certification (a plus).
- 3+ years of material handling/shipping experience
- 2+ years of forklift operation.
- Proficiency in WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, wear PPE, and pass a background check.
- Access to personal transportation (preferred).
- Salary: $23/HR - $24/HR
- Benefits: Full-time, on-site position with 40 hours per week and weekly pay
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Other: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
