TalentWorld is recruiting a HR Business Analyst in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
 
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and programs aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
  • Analyze HR data and industry trends to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present detailed HR reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance for leadership.
  • Coordinate the annual performance review process, including documentation and communication.
  • Conduct Mercer audits and complete industry surveys to benchmark organizational practices.
  • Manage employee contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Utilize HR systems (e.g., Dayforce HCM) to streamline processes and maintain data integrity.
  • Support DEI initiatives and evaluate HR programs to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPHR designation preferred; SHRM-CP or CHRP certifications are an asset.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, with a focus on analysis, policy development, and program implementation.
  • Proficiency in Dayforce HCM and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
