TalentWorld is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Avionics in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on avionics systems (communications, navigation, radar, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and calibrate avionics equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and configure avionics systems on aircraft with precision and compliance.
- Operate specialized test equipment for system diagnostics and repairs.
- Accurately document all work performed, including work sheets and technical reports.
- Provide technical support to crew members and collaborate with other trades.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Uphold company values and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency in operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Transport Canada AME-E License or working towards ACA (asset).
- 3-5 years of experience in avionics maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency with avionics systems (communication, navigation, radar, autopilot, etc.).
- Experience using avionics diagnostic tools and maintenance tracking software.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
