TalentWorld is recruiting an Aircraft Engine Service Technicians in Winnipeg, Manitoba for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on gas turbine engines per company and regulatory guidelines.
- Inspect and approve parts for use, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of all tasks and inspections.
- Troubleshoot engine issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide guidance and training to junior technicians as needed.
- Keep work areas organized, safe, and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Report job status, defects, and issues to the Engine Shop Manager.
- Stay current with industry regulations and participate in ongoing training.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Specialized certification for gas turbine engines (GE, P&WC, RR, etc.) preferred.
- 3–5 years of practical experience in the maintenance and repair of gas turbine engines.
- Experience with CF34 or PW100 engines is desirable.
- Proven experience with OEM engine models (GE, P&WC, RR, or similar).
- Proficient in using engine diagnostic and maintenance tools and systems.
- Experience with aviation maintenance tracking systems (e.g., AMOS, TRAK) is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and technical skills.
- Clear communication and strong attention to detail.
