Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright Responsibilities:

• Perform plant and equipment repairs, ensuring maintenance schedules are executed efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to complete maintenance projects.
• Maintain and update the CMMS system for accurate record-keeping and budget planning.
• Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly, keeping the Maintenance Team Lead informed.
• Support production processes by carrying out repairs with minimal disruption to the schedule.
• Act as a backup for the Maintenance Team Lead when needed, contributing to seamless operations.

Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright Qualifications:

• Industrial Millwright License (433A) desired; with full apprenticeship
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and maintenance best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
