Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Manage training, safety protocols, equipment operation, and WHMIS processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and efficient workflow.
• Supervise and mentor department staff, including material handlers and set-up operators, while coordinating off shifts and overtime as needed.
• Ensure supervision documents are accurately and promptly completed, overseeing production flow, quality, scheduling, and collaborating with planners.
• Conduct investigations into incidents, accidents, and first aid cases, following through on corrective actions and staffing recommendations.
• Facilitate effective communication with team members, managers, and external partners to maintain seamless 24-hour operations and meet business goals.
• Enforce company policies, addressing safety, quality, and performance concerns, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and positivity.

Production Supervisor Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Health and Safety
• Conflict management and decision-making abilities
• Product expertise - Automotive Manufacturing
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-pressure, dynamic environment
• Strong leadership skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
