Banking and Financial Officers Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process various financial transactions, including payments, deposits, and withdrawals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service in alignment with the Customer Experience Model (CEM).
- Uphold compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, ensuring all transactions meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to transaction processing, working closely with cross-functional teams as necessary.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking key performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, particularly in operations roles.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including AML and KYC regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, particularly VBA Macros; experience with data analysis is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Salary: $20 - $24 an hour
- Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid/ Onsite model
- Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Location: Victoria, BC
