Dispatcher/Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate dispatch activities to ensure services and deliveries are carried out efficiently and on time.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and sharing information about products and services.
  • Organize and assign tasks to service technicians to maximize productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and dispatch schedules.
  • Work closely with internal teams to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and analyze reports to monitor dispatch performance and customer service outcomes.
  • Identify areas for improvement in dispatch workflows and enhance customer service practices.
Dispatcher/Customer Service Specialist Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics, customer service, or similar areas is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of dispatch experience, ideally within the material-handling or a related sector.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Proficient in dispatch software and experienced with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Capable of thriving in a dynamic, high-pressure work environment.
