TalentWorld is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor (Aviation) in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the receiving team to ensure timely processing of shipments.
  • Inspect aircraft parts and verify compliance with receiving procedures and regulations.
  • Review and enter receiving paperwork into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy.
  • Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and documentation for compliance.
  • Monitor updates to the General Procedures Manual and implement changes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to expedite orders and manage inventory.
  • Inspect and organize incoming shipments, maintaining a tidy receiving area.
  • Supervise team performance, provide training, and address issues as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the receiving area, including waste management.  
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field (preferred)
  • Logistics or Supply Chain certification (preferred)
  • 5+ years in a receiving or inventory management role, preferably in aviation
  • Experience with ERP systems (Quantum is a plus)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23kg)
  • High accuracy in inspection and data entry
  • Strong decision-making and issue resolution skills
