TalentWorld is recruiting a Production Planner (Aviation) in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
 
Responsibilities
  • Ensure availability of materials, tools, and documentation for planned work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize resources and efficiency.
  • Review work packages to identify material, equipment, and tooling needs.
  • Coordinate with external contractors to confirm service availability.
  • Gather technical data for production planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on project costs, schedules, and performance.
  • Update customer work packages and communicate changes.
  • Work with the Production Manager to track task status and workflow.
  • Manage supplier lead times to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and milestones.
Qualifications
  • 2+ year technical school diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
  • AME M2 License and PMP designation are assets.
  • 3+ years of planning experience, preferably in aviation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with maintenance tracking software (Quantum is a plus).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
