Forklift Trainer Responsibilities
  • Deliver lift truck training with both classroom and hands-on sessions, customized to client needs and safety standards.
  • Ensure clients are confident in safe lift truck operations, adapting programs to their specific safety requirements.
  • Professionally represent the company.
  • Conduct on-site training sessions, blending theory with practical instruction, followed by assessments.
  • Address client training inquiries, advising on requirements via in-person, email, or phone communication.
  • Administer and score assessments, providing feedback and maintaining training records.
  • Assess client environments to optimize safe equipment use.
  • Share sales leads with the sales team.
  • Support continuous improvement by providing feedback to refine training programs.
Forklift Trainer Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in training and development, ideally in equipment operation or health and safety.
  • Certificate or diploma in Adult Instruction, Trainer Health & Safety, Power Equipment, or related field with at least 1 year of relevant study.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Enthusiastic about teaching and transferring knowledge.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle for travel.
