As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by cutting steel components and structures according to specifications. Your attention to detail, technical skills, and commitment to quality will contribute to the production of high-quality steel products.
Responsibilities:
Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Positions or aligns components and parts, either manually or with hoists.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Mechanical and technical skills; the ability to use battery operated or corded hand tools.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
Employment Details:
Schedule: Mondays to Wednesdays
Shifts: Day Shift 7am-7:15pm
Salary: $22.50/hr paid weekly
Employment type: Temporary on going
