TalentWorld is recruiting a UX/UI Designer in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with business goals.
- Optimize designs based on user feedback and performance data.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (AODA, WCAG 2.0).
- Maintain consistent design systems and guidelines across platforms.
- Work with content teams to integrate engaging and clear content.
- Provide design support throughout development for quality implementation.
- Stay up to date on emerging UX trends and best practices.
- Bachelor’s in graphic design, Interaction Design, or related field.
- 5+ years in UX design with a portfolio of web and mobile projects.
- UX Design certification (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group or similar) preferred.
- Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and wireframing.
- Familiar with WCAG and AODA accessibility standards.
- Agile development experience.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Salary: $60.00HR - $70.00HR
- Benefits: 37.5 Hours Weekly, Contract, Fulltime, Hybrid
- Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
- Other: 5 months contract, possibility of extension
