Operation Officer I Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage technical expertise to analyze and provide insights on regulatory reporting, AML, and ATF processes within the financial services sector.
- Identify and implement operational improvements, new workflows, and process efficiencies to enhance regulatory compliance and streamline operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting, adhering to regulatory requirements and upholding compliance standards.
- Execute reporting functions for AML, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption (ABAC), and other regulatory obligations, producing consolidated reports to aid decision-making.
- Review data discrepancy alerts, resolve inaccuracies, and report issues within agreed SLAs.
- Collaborate with partners to obtain and accurately enter missing data.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and actions to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in regulatory reporting, AML/ATF, or similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary: $20.12 an hour
- Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Onsite
- Duration: 5 months contract with possibility of extension
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00 PM OR 9:00AM to 5:00PM
- Location: Toronto, ON
