Tool and Die Maker Responsibilities:

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments like calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, etc.
• Analyze blueprints, sketches, models, or specifications to strategize the sequence of operations for fabricating tools, dies, or assemblies.
• Assemble and fit parts together using machine tools and hand tools to create, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools.
• Provide assistance in die changes utilizing a forklift and crane when necessary.
• Possess the necessary tools to complete projects within designated timelines.

Tool and Die Maker Qualifications:

• Holds a 430A Tool and Die License
• Has a minimum of 4 years of experience in a related field
• Competent in operating all relevant tool room equipment
• Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical problems with minimal support
