TalentWorld is recruiting a Assembly Line Worker in Coquitlam, British Columbia for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Organize and classify electronic materials for efficient processing.
- Utilize hand tools to disassemble and prepare products.
- Operate and maintain baler and shrink-wrapping machinery.
- Adhere to safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Document processes and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality assurance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and promptly report any equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet and exceed production targets.
- Identify and troubleshoot production challenges as they arise.
- Propose ideas for improving workflow efficiency and safety measures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experienced in Manufacturing, heavy industrial, or construction preferred.
- Experienced in Use of hand, air, and power tools is a must.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic warehouse management systems (WMS) knowledge.
- Operation of balers and shrink wrappers.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Salary: $19.25HR
- Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Contract, Full-time, Onsite
- Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
- Other: 6 months contract, possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
