TalentWorld is recruiting a Director of Sales in Vancouver, British Columbia for one of our clients.
 
 Responsibilities
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Oversee daily sales team operations to ensure high performance.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities for growth opportunities.
  • Manage the implementation of CRM systems to streamline processes.
  • Train the sales team on CRM usage and best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales materials and campaigns.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Executive, Certified Professional Salesperson) is an asset.
  • 5–7 years of senior sales experience in Marine or Electrical Manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of electric propulsion systems and eco-friendly technologies.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems; experience with specific CRM systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales analytics tools and performance metrics.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience with large contracts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring and developing sales teams.
Employment Details
  • Salary: $150,000+ annually (negotiable)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, commission, and RRSP contributions.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Other: Permanent, full-time position. Fully onsite with potential travel required.
