Machinist

Machinist  Responsibilities:  

• Read and Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining procedures
• Set up and operate manual and computer-controlled lathes, milling machines, and grinders following MOL guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications, troubleshooting as needed
• Inspect finished products to verify conformance to specifications and quality standards

Machinist  Requirements:  

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or apprenticeship preferred
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints coupled with strong mathematical skills
• Familiarity with a wide variety of machining equipment and tools, including vertical and horizontal lathes and mills, manual and computerized
• Collaborate with team members, work independently, lead by example, and train colleagues when required

Employment  Details: 
Pay: $30-$40 depending on experience, OT after 40 hrs    
Schedule: Day Shift Monday-Friday 7 am - 3 pm
                   Afternoon shift Monday - Thursday 3 pm - 2 am
