Machine Operator Responsibilities

• Operate slitting machines to cut large rolls of material into smaller, precise widths according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machines to ensure optimal performance and quality output
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of slitting machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production goals.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies

Machine Operator Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation preferred.
• Previous experience operating slitter machines or similar machinery is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including specifications and work orders.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to lift and move heavy rolls of material

Employment Details

• Straight Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7 am - 3:30pm
• Bus accessible
• Temp to Perm Opportunity - 6 month probation
