TalentWorld’s client in Guelph is looking for a hands-on pro who can install, service, and repair shop equipment and building systems like plumbing, heating, and electrical. You'll even get to build cool new machinery, work with precision tools, and show others the ropes. If you can follow blueprints and keep everything running smoothly, this could be your next great gig!
Millwright Responsibilities
• Install, adjust, service, and repair various machines and equipment.
• Perform general repairs or assist with larger repairs on building systems, such as heating, plumbing, and electrical.
• Support major installations, setups, and repairs of machines or equipment.
• Operate standard machines to produce parts or simple tools and perform basic heat-treating operations.
• Perform simple shop calculations with basic knowledge of commonly used metals.
Millwright Qualifications
• Maintenance Millwright with 433A license with Apprenticeship
• Strong communication and interface skills at all organizational levels
• Proficiency in blueprint reading
• Expertise in building new machinery or equipment
Employment Details
• Straight Afternoons Monday to Thursday – 10 hr shifts
• Excellent pay rates $40 plus, plus premiums
