TalentWorld is recruiting a Finance Manager for one of our partners in Bolton, Ontario.

Day-to-Day Activities (40%)
- Oversee job setups, maintenance, and closeouts
- Sign off on job setups, budgets, rate tables, and change management documents
- Perform month-end reviews, adjustments, cost accruals, and revenue recognition
- Support the OC Manager, Project Manager, and Controller
- Assist in the collection of A/R and manage Payroll data captures
- Manage the DSO for the area to meet targets
People Management (15%)
- Manage the Finance team, including hiring, disciplining, and terminating
- Prepare executive reports, operating centers P&L, and Income Statements on a monthly basis
- Provide cost analysis and reports to measure job progress for forecasting
- Monitor and optimize the use of ERP and other systems to ensure data accuracy
Finance Manager Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Proven proficiency in a senior-level accounting or finance function
- Canadian Accounting designation is mandatory
- College diploma or university degree
- Experience in railway or construction company
- Proficient in accounting functions including job costing, financial analysis, and financial reporting
- Significant Project Accounting Experience - specifically in linear construction projects such as road, pipeline, or powerline.
