Mechanic Apprentice

TalentWorld is looking for a superstar 310T Mechanic Apprentice for our highly reputable Manufacturing/Distribution clients in Barrie, ON. This is a permanent, direct-hire position on straight days, with health and dental benefits available after 3 months. Mechanic Apprentice Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, test, adjust, and repair systems of heavy-duty vehicles. 
• Examines, test drives and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment.  
• Performs repairs and replace defective parts. 
• Performs routine and scheduled maintenance services according to manufacturer’s specifications. 
• Maintain inventory and restock parts. 
• Perform emergency road repairs as required. 
• Submit records of repairs and preventative maintenance to Fleet Administrator.

Mechanic Apprentice Qualifications:

• Registered as an apprentice in your second or third year (preferred)
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair problems of a general or advanced nature
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials, methods, and practices of engine repair, mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
