TalentWorld is recruiting a Production Worker in Coquitlam, British Columbia for one of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and sort electronic materials into designated categories for processing.
  • Use hand tools to dismantle products according to established standards.
  • Operate baler and shrink wrapper machinery to compress and package materials efficiently.
  • Adhere to rigorous safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Maintain detailed records of processed materials and promptly report any issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12).
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Commitment to personal safety and the safety of colleagues.
  • Experience using various hand tools, air tools, and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Fast-paced environment with heavy equipment traffic.
  • Exposure to designated substances, loud noises, and varying temperatures.
  • Repetitive tasks requiring focus and efficiency.
  • Mandatory use of PPE including respirator, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes
Employment Details
  • Salary: $18.50HR - $19.25HR
  • Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Contract, Full-time, Onsite
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
  • Other: 6-month term with potential for extension and permanent placement.
