TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Procurement Specialist in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for designated categories, focusing on cost savings and supplier relationship management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis and negotiate contracts to optimize procurement processes.
  • Manage RFx processes, monitor supplier performance, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing practices and contribute to procurement effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support operational needs.
  • Provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures to internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management based on sourcing outcomes and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • SCMA (PMAC) certification (SCMP or CPP) preferred, demonstrating expertise in supply chain management.
  • Minimum 4 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a track record in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with Crown Corporations or government procurement processes is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage projects, collaborate effectively, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Proficiency in both French and English required for business communication and negotiation.

  • Salary: $36.00HR - $$49.00HR
  • Benefits: 36 hours weekly, Contract, Full-time, Hybrid
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
  • Other: 22 months contract, Career growth and Priceless experience
