Talentworld is recruiting for an Administrative Clerk in Halifax, NS for our client in the Government sector.

As an Administrative Clerk, you will be responsible for organizing and implementing administrative services. If you demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment then this role is for you.

Administrative Clerk Responsibilities
  • Organize and implement administrative services, exercising judgment and initiative in areas without established guidelines.
  • Answer inquiries in person and on telephone
  • Prepare expense claims
  • Maintain office supply inventory
  • Compose and manage correspondence
  • Maintain and organize filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.

Secretary Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years experience in similar role
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Employment Details
  • Wage: $17/hr
  • Contract: 2 month contract with the possibility of extension
  • Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm – Monday to Friday
