TalentWorld is recruiting for Operations Officer I in Mississauga, ON for one of its clients.

Operations Officer I Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a broad range of operational support and performs general to specialized transactions and/or other processing activities for Operations and Business Services function.
  • Implement and maintain data classification standards and retention policies across designated shared drives.
  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify redundant, obsolete, or trivial (ROT) data and take appropriate actions in accordance with established retention policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of data classification decisions and retention schedules, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with relevant functions or partners to facilitate resolution and uphold service quality standards.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and operational processes.
  • Proactively contribute ideas and suggestions for improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Operations Officer I Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of financial/ banking, operational expertise, and familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Prior experience working in a banking environment, understanding banking operations and procedures.
  • Experience handling customer information and sensitive data with strict confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service skills with experience in interacting professionally with clients or customers.
  • Prior experience in risk management, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within a financial or banking context.
Employment Details:
  • Salary: $20.05 an hour
  • Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
  • Training: On-site
  • Duration: 6 months contract with possibility of extension
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
  • Location: Mississauga, ON
