TalentWorld is recruiting Bilingual Operations Officer I in Montreal, QC for one of its clients.
Bilingual Operations Officer I Key Responsibilities:
- Execute transactions accurately and timely according to established guidelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Investigate and resolve customer adjustments, payment reversals, and global money transfers.
- Perform reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Collaborate with internal partners to validate information and process adjustments within defined authority levels.
- Escalate operational issues or processing challenges to appropriate functions or partners for resolution.
- Contribute to analysis and reporting on critical projects or special initiatives aimed at improving operating models and service quality.
- Maintain a solid understanding of internal and industry regulations, trends, and emerging issues to ensure compliance and due diligence.
- Manage workload effectively to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.
- Actively participate in reviewing internal processes and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management) relevant to operations activities.
- Understanding of MM and FX Products (e.g. Options, Foreign Exchange spots and forwards, Money Market deposits and loans)
- Bilingual is a must (French and English)
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a Trade Processing related role, preferably with exposure to cash products such as Loans, Deposits, Swaps, and Forwards.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in Excel being essential.
- Knowledge of Global and WSS platforms would be an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues.
- Salary: $25 an hour
- Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid
- Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
- Location: Montreal, QC
