TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Treasury Consultant in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Gather information for annual renewal of the insurance program.
  • Respond to inquiries from insurance brokers, underwriters, and adjusters.
  • Manage daily cash, forecasting, and borrowing reporting accurately.
  • Prepare notices for credit facility drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments.
  • Build relationships with key bank contacts for effective communication.
  • Monitor and manage the hedge portfolio to minimize financial risks.
  • Assist with bank administration and compliance reporting.
  • Document intercompany funding transactions accurately.
  • Execute foreign exchange trades according to hedging policies.
  • Generate reports for treasury transactions and maintain relevant systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of combined experience in insurance and treasury roles.
  • Professional designation preferred in insurance (CRM, ARM, or equivalent), accounting (CPA), or treasury (CTP), or actively pursuing advanced designation.
  • Experience in managing global insurance programs and treasury functions.
  • Proficiency in trade finance, letters of credit, or bank guarantees.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel.
Employment Details
  • Salary: $100.000 - $130.000
  • Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
  • Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
