TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Treasury Consultant in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Gather information for annual renewal of the insurance program.
- Respond to inquiries from insurance brokers, underwriters, and adjusters.
- Manage daily cash, forecasting, and borrowing reporting accurately.
- Prepare notices for credit facility drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments.
- Build relationships with key bank contacts for effective communication.
- Monitor and manage the hedge portfolio to minimize financial risks.
- Assist with bank administration and compliance reporting.
- Document intercompany funding transactions accurately.
- Execute foreign exchange trades according to hedging policies.
- Generate reports for treasury transactions and maintain relevant systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of combined experience in insurance and treasury roles.
- Professional designation preferred in insurance (CRM, ARM, or equivalent), accounting (CPA), or treasury (CTP), or actively pursuing advanced designation.
- Experience in managing global insurance programs and treasury functions.
- Proficiency in trade finance, letters of credit, or bank guarantees.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel.
- Salary: $100.000 - $130.000
- Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
- Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
